Lyle

Meet Lyle! As his human has recently transferred to a long-term care facility, Lyle is in need of a second forever home! They had been together since Lyle’s adoption at 3 years old, and at 14 years old now, he is ready to bring that lifelong love (and his special blanket) to a new family!

Lyle is a snuggle-bug and can’t resist a spot on the couch with you. He is considered top-tier company, and will happily accept all the pets you can offer — he also melts while being brushed! This socialite kitty happily chats with his person with little meows and purrs.

Lyle spends his days much like any orange cat would. One minute he is in the sunshine snoozing away on the window bench and the next he’s chasing balls and string around the room! Watch out though - you might just find yourself on your hands and knees finding the secret stashes of crinkle balls under the fridge and behind the sofa. He would just love someone to play with him and give him undivided attention!

Lyle would prefer to be the only animal in the home, as he has had no experience with cats or dogs. Lyle does do well with older children and teens, as long as they respect his needs. Lyle is looking for a second home that will provide him with scratch pads and someone who considers his desire for Purina One Sensitive System food. He may be open to trying new foods, but this has been a good choice for him since he has been in his temporary home.
