Kaya

Meet Kaya! As her senior very recently chose medical assistance in dying, Kaya is in need of a second forever home.

Kaya is an 8-year-old Seal Point Siamese cat who is both stunning and intelligent. She is shy and a bit skittish at first, but once she trusts you, she loves attention. She will sit on her human’s lap, but only she dictates how long and when.

Although she is an indoor cat, she loves to be outside on her protected deck. She loves to be brushed and play with string. She likes to curl up in warm sunny spots, play hide and seek, and snuggle away while you actively search for her in your home. She will always use her voice to let you know when she is hungry or when she would like attention.

Kaya is accustomed to her human being at home, so she would do best with a human who works from home or is retired. Even though she did live with her cat brother before he passed away, she is untested with other cats and hides when dogs are around, so we believe she would do best in a home without pets or small children.
