We are so grateful you are interested in joining our volunteer team! Our roles include adoption coordinators, pet pantry coordinators, marketing committee members and veterinary care committee members.
Each adoption is facilitated by our team of kind and compassionate volunteers across Canada.
This is a virtual volunteer role that you can do from the comfort of your home. Our adoption volunteers are responsible for writing the adoptables profiles, interviewing potential adoptees, and guiding the families we help through our adoption process. Each volunteer handles one adoption at a time. While each adoption is unique, it typically takes take 10-12 hours over 2-4 weeks to complete an adoption from start to finish. Must be 18+.

Our Pet Pantry volunteers are responsible for helping to distribute pet food directly to seniors. They are responsible for calling applicants, placing an order for the food the pet eats via our Amazon account, and making sure the senior receives the order. Each volunteer is assigned a few applicants at a time, with each order taking approx an hour.

join our marketing and fundraising committee
Our marketing and fundraising committee meets every two months to discuss our strategies and come up with ideas to improve our marketing and fundraising efforts. There is no commitment or certain numbers of meeting you have to attend, members simply come to meetings when they are able to chat about marketing.

join our veterinary care committee
Our veterinary care committee meets every two months to discuss our adoptables veterinary needs, and determine our vet care standards. We kindly ask that all members of this committee work in veterinary care.
