Amelia

Meet Amelia! As her human has been giving a terminal diagnosis, sweet Amelia is in need of a second forever home.

Amelia is a 13-year-old black cat who was born on Friday the 13th. When she was three months old, she was adopted by her human, who considers herself the luckiest person there is to have been loved by Amelia.

Amelia is a calm, smart and independent girl, who is very responsive. If you even whisper the word “cookie”, “snack” or “dinner” she will immediately perk up in anticipation. She is a cat that learns a routine quickly! She famously emerges every night at the same time for her nightly treat.

She has some favourite spots around the house to snooze. You’ll most likely find her napping in bed on a pillow. She has a few adorable quirks, which include drinking water with her paws and her cute little chirp to say hello

Amelia is ideally looking for a second forever home without small children or other pets. She has lived with other cats in the past, but she is more likely to be successful in a home without other animals. Amelia would like a quiet home where she can continue to be an indoor cat with humans who respect her space. She was recently diagnosed with a thyroid condition and takes her medication with ease.
