Joe

Meet Joe! As his senior human has suddenly moved into long-term care, this sweet guy is looking for his second forever home.

Joe is an 8-year-old big fluffy ball of love. He is social, super affectionate and loves to cuddle. His favourite spot to sit is on the back of the couch near your head where you can pet him and listen to him purr non-stop. Joe is so affectionate that he was even purring at his recent vet check when the doctor was checking his vitals.

Joe loves to follow his human around in the house in hopes that he will get some attention, but when he has had enough, he will settle down into a dark spot where he camouflages perfectly.

Joe has FVR, which is essentially a reoccurring kitty cold. For Joe, this just means he sometimes has runny eyes, which can be treated with eye drops. Joe is ideally looking for a second forever home where he can be the only pet, so he can soak up all the love and affection. He is great with children and adults of all ages!

Joe is currently a little overweight and will need help from his second forever family to get back down to a healthy weight. As a long-haired boy, he does need regular brushing or a shave from the vet, neither of which he minds.
