Purrkey
Meet Purrkey! As her senior human has passed away, she is in need of a second forever home.
Purrkey is a 12-year-old short-hair polydactyly girl who was found as a barn kitten and has lived with her human ever since. She is an independent girl who loves to be in the same room as her human. She loves to spend her days laying by the fireplace or soaking up the warmth of the sun through the window.
Purrkey goes by the beat of her own drum. One moment she will be curled up on your lap, and the next she will jump off and prefer to be ignored. Her unique personality can take a little bit to get used to, but her human always met it with a laugh and an "Oh, Purrkey."

Purrkey would do well in a home as the only cat, but gets along with dogs. She would do best with older cat-savvy children.
