Rookie

Meet Rookie! As his senior human is moving to a retirement home, Rookie is looking for his second forever home.

Rookie is a sweet, almost 10 year old boy who loves people. Rookie is a huge snuggler and loves to cuddle up with his human at nights. He even likes to say hello to strangers when they come to visit! Although he is a pretty mellow cat, Rookie is certainly not shy about vocalizing when he wants food or attention.

Rookie loves to spend his days chilling, looking out the window, and sunbathing. His favourite way to play is by hiding toys around the house for his humans to find later. You’ll fall in love Rookie’s first season with you - or maybe even the summer before 😉

Although Rookie loves humans, he has no experience with other cats and seems to be afraid of dogs, so he would thrive best in a household without other pets. Rookie also doesn’t have much experience with kids but should be okay in a household with older, cat-savvy children.
