Scittles
Meet Scittles (with a “c”)! Scittles is a playful, energetic boy in need of a second forever home, as his human is terminally ill and no longer able to care for him.
Scittles is a two-year-old boy who was rescued by his human as a kitten after being found abandoned in a barn. He is an indoor cat, but occasionally likes to get some fresh air in an enclosed outdoor space. He has demonstrated a keen interest in hunting, even bravely catching and killing common household insects for his human.
While Scittles may not be a lap cat, he is fiercely loyal and protective of his human, often sitting or laying nearby. He will show his affection on his terms and will let you know with his body language when he has had enough pets. He enjoys nightly cuddles and biscuit-making in bed before going off to find a spot to sleep. He will greet his human at the door, with his favorite toy in his mouth, ready to play. He is chatty, talking with his human throughout the day, and he responds to “brush brush” by sprawling out on the floor to be brushed.

Scittles can be a bit skittish (hence the name) and would not do well in a home with young children. He might thrive with a single person or couple that have the energy to keep up with him, provide him with the enrichment he needs throughout the day, and maybe even take him on some adventures! He has not had any other experience with other cats or dogs, but he may do well in a home with another cat to play with.
