Vincent
Meet Vincent! As his beloved human has received a terminal diagnosis, this handsome boy is in need of his second forever home.
Vincent, so aptly named as his eyes reminded his human of Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night painting, is a 13-year-old sweetheart who was adopted by his human three years ago. He is a gentle soul who loves human presence and will even gently greet house guests and quietly sit nearby to enjoy their company.
Daily outdoor exploration time is very important to Vincent – he even prefers an outdoor litter area. His perfect day starts with a cozy indoor morning nap, followed by some outdoor time to peacefully bird watch, occasionally joining his human for a walk together. When indoors, he will happily engage in some playtime before napping on a comfortable bed or his human’s lap as he purrs away contently. He’s the perfect balance of independent explorer and loving companion.

Vincent would thrive in a quiet home where he can safely enjoy time outdoors and return inside to relax in comfort. He would do best as the only pet, as he is afraid of dogs and timid around other cats, and would prefer a household without young children. Loud or unfamiliar noises can be unsettling for him, so an adopter who is home often to provide reassurance and companionship would be ideal.
Vincent’s human is hoping to keep him until she is unable to care for him, which is expected to be later this Spring.
