Chita

Meet Chita! As her senior human has moved into a care home, this sweet orange girl is in need of a second forever home.

Chita is a 12 year old sweetheart who loves to put on a show for the people she loves. While she can be shy with new people, once she knows you, she will greet you at the door by rolling around, purring her heart out and making muffins while she lays on her side.

Chita loves to spend her day with her human. Her favourite spot is in her bed beside her human’s chair, but as soon as you move Chita will become your shadow. Chita also loves to be brushed and will purr for hours

Chita is a snuggle bug and is more of a teddy bear than a cat. She doesn’t play with toys and has no instincts when it comes to catching mice or bugs, but if you’re looking for a cat-like teddy bear, Chita is the girl for you.

A few years ago, Chita suffered a stroke. She recovered well, but she can no longer jump or twist. Her human son currently takes her to the vet to help with grooming, but she is also on a diet to help. As she can be timid at first, she is looking for a quiet home without children or other animals.
