Gavin

Meet Gavin! As his senior human is moving into a retirement home for additional care, he is urgently in need of a second forever home before October 1.

Gavin, also known as jelly bean, is an 8-year-old very snuggly boy with a big heart. Although he likes to keep all four feet on the ground, his favourite pastime is lying next to his person and getting lots of attention. Gavin isn’t a fan of activity and usually spends the day sleeping in the cat tree or being a couch potato.

His sweet high-pitched meow will let you know when he wants a treat, which with Gavin is often! He has his own fan club amongst visitors in his home and everybody loves him. He has been with his person since he was 7 weeks old, so this is a very emotional time for them both, but he is ready to make someone else very happy with his endless cuddles.

Gavin would flourish in a quiet home, preferably with a person at home most of the time. He would be comfortable being a solo pet. Gavin would not like to share his home with dogs. He would be ok with older children (10+) but might need to warm up to smaller children.
