URGENT: Meet Lily! As her senior human has chose medical assistance in dying, Lily is urgently in need of a second forever home by June 15.

Lily is a 12-year-old long-haired sassy girl who was adopted by her human at seven years old and has been with her ever since. While she can be feisty, those who can read her cues and have the patience to learn her nature will be rewarded with her companionship and her sweet, cuddly side.

Lily’s days are often spent birdwatching from the window or napping in her favourite spot, the laundry basket. She also loves choosing the toy of the day from her toy box, carefully selecting whichever one matches her mood. By evening, Lily can usually be found curled up on her human’s lap during TV time, gently asking for pets when she wants attention.

Lily would do best in a home without other animals or children, and with someone experienced in caring for cats and understanding their personalities. She hopes to find a home that appreciates her independence during the day and enjoys her company at night

At her recent vet checkup, the only recommendation was for Lily to lose some weight, something she has already been working on.
