Scruffette

Meet Scruffette! As her beloved human has passed away, Scruffette is looking for a second forever home.

Scruffette, or Scruffy for short, is a 9 year old cat with a gentle soul who enjoys a calm, relaxed lifestyle. She loves lounging indoors in her favourite cozy spots or basking in sunbeams on patio furniture outside. A very vocal girl, Scruffette enjoys conversations with her human and will happily let you know when she’s ready to head out to explore or to just sit and watch the world go by.

While she may not be a lap cat, Scruffette likes sitting close to her human, soaking up pets and as much attention as she can get. She’s an intelligent sweetheart who enjoys chasing a laser pointer and is highly motivated by treats. She also loves drinking water from the bottom of the sink and licking droplets from the bathtub.

Scruffette would do best as the only pet in the home, as she doesn’t get along well with the other cats she’s currently living with, and has no experience with dogs or children. She is currently on anxiety medication to help manage the stress of living with other cats, but she is expected to thrive in a calm, quiet environment. With a safe outdoor space to explore and a loving human to adore her, Scruffette will truly blossom.
