Meet Sweetie! After the passing of her beloved owner, this beautiful girl is searching for a second forever home where she can once again be surrounded by love.

Sweetie is 13 year-old a wonderfully affectionate and easy-going girl. True to her name, she loves spending time with her people and will happily climb into your lap when she’s ready for cuddles. While she prefers affection on her own terms, she is always gentle and appreciates the love she receives.

Sweetie also has a playful side and enjoys batting around her favourite toys. One of Sweetie’s favourite ways to spend time is sitting out on the front porch, watching the world go by. While she enjoys the fresh air and companionship, she is happy to be an indoor cat.

Sweetie is looking for a loving family who will appreciate her affectionate personality and gentle nature. Sweetie transitioned beautifully with loved ones who who have been caring for her, and although the cat in her temporary home doesn’t like her, Sweetie may do well with another friendly feline companion. She has no experience with dogs or young children, but she may be okay with older, cat-savvy children.

Sweetie is currently a little overweight, so her second forever home will need to carefully portion her meals to help her reach a healthy weight. With lots of love, playtime, and a little patience, Sweetie is sure to blossom.
