Meet Candy! After the passing of her beloved human, this sweet girl is looking for a second forever home.

As her name suggests, Candy is super sweet! This 13-year-old girl lives a relaxed, quiet lifestyle where she loves to spend her time with the company of her human. The way to Candy’s heart is through scratches and grooming, as she loves to purr while being given pets. Candy is a social girl, and is looking for a person who seeks quiet companionship and love.

Candy is an independent girl who appreciates a cozy nap spot. She is social and loves to be in the company of people, and while she isn’t a lap cat, she enjoys sitting near her people. Some of her favourite spots to lay are in cardboard boxes and baskets, and is hoping her second forever home will have lots of cozy spaces for her.

Candy is looking to be the only pet in her home, and would do best in an environment without young children. She would be the perfect companion for a retired person(s), but is also independent and would do well with a person who is away at work during the day.

Candy is currently on anxiety medication as the other cats in the home stress her out, so she is looking for a home without other animals. Candy is on a diet and is hoping her second forever family continues to help her in her weight-loss journey.
