To request support from The Mackenzie Fund, simply complete the form below. As each situation is unique, you will be contacted by our team via phone to determine if we can provide you with assistance.
Recipients will receive a one-time grant of $500 to support vet care. Applicants must be a senior (65+), terminally ill, or have adopted an animal through My Grandfather’s Cat. The Mackenzie Fund is intended to cover unexpected vet care such as support with diabetes, medications, dental surgeries.

Misty was rescued by Valerie Slayton and was a loving companion late in her life. When Valerie died in 2014, her son and daughter-in-law adopted Misty, who continues to thrive. The Misty Fund, established by the Slayton Family, honours the memory of Valerie and her husband Raymond, who were great cat-lovers.
