Maya
Meet Maya! As her senior human has moved into a retirement home, this beautiful girl is in need of a second forever home.
Maya is a 14-year-old long-haired girl who was adopted by her human as a kitten. She is a loving girl who enjoys sleeping on her human's bed and curling into head scratches and pets. She loves being brushed and carrying on a conversation while rubbing against her human to show her love and attention.
She is a laid-back gal who likes to spend time looking out the windows, basking in the sunbeam and being near her human. While she doesn't play as much, she recently gave an unexpected mouse a good chase. She has been a good traveller, having spent the summers at the family cottage.
Location: Long Reach (Saint John), New Brunswick
Availability: Immediately
Maya can be shy at first, so she is ideally looking for a quiet home without other pets or young children. She would make an ideal companion for a retired person or someone who is at home most of the time. She is an indoor cat who would enjoy a catio or occasional supervised time on a deck.
