Meet Ruby! As her beloved human has suddenly passed away, this beautiful girl is in need of a second forever home.

Ruby is a 6 year-old gentle girl with a sweet personality. She can be shy when first meeting new people and may spend some time observing from a cozy hiding spot while she settles in. Once she feels safe, Ruby’s playful side comes out, and she enjoys exploring, playing with her growing collection of toys, and showing off her charming personality.

Ruby is also very food-motivated, making treats a wonderful way to earn her trust and build a special bond.

Ruby would thrive in a calm and understanding home where she can adjust at her own pace. She has not previously lived with dogs or other cats, but with the right introduction, she may do well with a calm, cat-savvy companion who understands feline boundaries. She may also be suitable for old, cat-savvy children who understand that she'll come to them when she's ready.
