Sophie

Meet Sophie! As her beloved human has a terminal illness and plans to proceed with MAID, Sophie is in need of a second forever home.

Sophie is 7 year-old long-haired calico. She is a shy, independent gal who is very lovable once she warms up to you. She will seek out attention and lay beside you on the couch, and will greet you each morning with lots of purrs and meows. While she is an indoor cat, she likes to spend time on the back porch on a leash.

When Sophie is not snoozing, she loves to sit and look out the windows. Sophie has a cat perch near the back patio door and a second perch at the front window. She watches the birds and squirrels, occasionally chatting at them to let them know she’s in charge. While she sometimes plays with her cat toys, her favourite toy is an empty box!

Sophie has no experience with other cats, dogs, or small children. She would do best in a home with experienced cat owners who will give her time to adapt and provide her all the love and attention she is used to receiving.
