Thala

Meet Thala! As her senior human is moving into a long-term care home, she is urgently in need of a second forever home before August 28.

Thala is an 11 year-old stunning girl with gorgeous green eyes who is sweet, quiet and loving. She may be cautious when she first meets you, but once she gets to know you, she will show you her affectionate side. During the day, she will be curled up by your side on the couch, and at night she likes to curl up in bed and get as close to you as possible – even sleeping on top of your head if you’ll allow her.

Thala thrives with the retirement lifestyle. She likes to spend her days close to her human, eating meals together, curling up on the couch to walk TV, taking long naps and embracing her inner couch potato.

She was found in a suitcase as a kitten and soon after was adopted by her mom. When she was very young, it was discovered that her bowel wasn’t fully developed and she needed medication three times a day to move food through her kitty body. She takes her pills with ease at breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. She is a thriving, healthy girl who just needs a friend to help with her medication – and she will show you her gratitude with purrs and snuggles!

Thala has experience with other cats, although she is indifferent around them. She has no experience with dogs, but doesn’t get along with young children. She would do best with someone who works from home or someone who is retired.
