Suzie

Meet Suzie! As her senior human had to move into long-term care, this sweet, affectionate girl is looking for a second forever home.

When a senior lady first saw a photo of Suzie, she instantly fell in love. The shelter knew little about her history, but one thing was clear – she loved to be loved. The senior adopted her and they spent the next few years showering each other with affection ever since.

Suzie is thought to be between 8-10 years old. She is a delightful, sweet girl who loves to affectionately greet her human by jumping on their lap and purring away. Suzie often spends her day by the window and can be found exploring high terrain. Though she is declawed, she is also quite fond of scratching her scratch post. Suzie can be shy with new people, but warms up fairly quickly. Hint: the secret to her heart are tube treats, which she cannot resist.

Suzie is looking for a second forever home where she can be the only pet in the home, as she does not do well with dogs or other cats. She doesn’t have experience with kids, but would likely do well with older, cat-savvy kids.
