A Message from Bo’s Mums and Dad

For the last few days, Jordan and I have been working to find a way to honour of beloved Mr Bo and to continue his legacy of bringing love and joy into the world through his favourite things.

With the support of our board of directors, My Grandfather's Cat will be renaming our holiday pet pantry after him to Bo's Holiday Pet Pantry.

Each year, 100 seniors will receive $200 worth of pet food and supplies shipped directly to their door to help feed more than 250 cats and dogs during the holiday season in his honour.

Through Bo's Holiday Pet Pantry, Jordan and I have created a new initiative called Treats from Bo. Each of the 250 cats and dogs helped by Bo’s Holiday Pet Pantry will receive a bag of their favourite treats, so they can experience the joy of being spoiled, just like Mr Bo was. Jordan and I will begin by donating $1000 towards Treats from Bo, and ensure this initiative is always personally funded by his mums and dad.

Bo loved the holidays. He loved sleeping until the Christmas tree, stealing Christmas ornaments, napping by the fire, snuggling and purring with his family and eating as many treats as he could. This initiative will allow other cats and dogs to experience the joys he did, while honouring his memory and the lives he changed, including ours.
