Each year, Bo’s Holiday Pet Pantry provides 100 low-income seniors and terminally ill people across Canada with $200 worth of pet food and supplies shipped directly to their door in honour of our beloved second adoptable Bo, who was adopted by our founder, Angela.

When Bo’s senior human was moving into a care home, he contacting My Grandfather’s Cat to help find a second forever home for Bo. This was in the very early days of MGC, and when Bo’s adoption fell through, he stayed with Angela for the night. Little did she know in that moment that 14 year-old Bo had adopted her, and they were inseparable for the next five years.

Bo loved the holidays. He loved sleeping until the Christmas tree, stealing Christmas ornaments, napping by the fire, snuggling with his family and eating as many treats as he could. In his honour, Bo’s mums and dad will be personally donating a bag of treats to all 100 recipients of Bo’s Holiday Pet Pantry, to continue his legacy and to share his favourite thing with cats across Canada.

To request support from Bo’s Holiday Pet Pantry, simply complete the form below. As each situation is unique, you will be contacted directly via phone to determine if we can provide assistance.

Recipients will receive up to $200 worth of pet food and supplies shipped directly to their door. Applicants must be a low-income senior (65+) and have an address deliverable to by Amazon. Applicants can receive support from our pet pantry every 12 months.
