Lucy and Juney

Meet Lucy and Juney! This sweet pair of cats are in need of a second forever home after the unexpected passing of their human earlier this year. They are currently being cared for by loving guardians while they wait for their second forever home.

Lucy is a gorgeous 9 year-old long-haired tortoiseshell girl and Juney is a sleek black 6 year-old boy. This dynamic duo has lived together for many years, loves to play with and chase each other, and would like to be adopted together.

Juney is the more adventurous half of the pair, and is always keen to explore the house, chase anything that moves, and supervise his guardians’ daily activities (like computer time and meal preparation in the kitchen). While Juney may not like being picked up, he’ll shower you with love in other ways – like coming over to see you and giving you headbutts.

Lucy is shy when meeting new people, but your patience with her will be rewarded. Once she gets to know you, Lucy is friendly and will demand your attention by tapping on your arm to ask for pats. Lucy is familiar with a harness and leash, so when she is ready for adventures of her own, you could take her for walks outdoors.

Both Lucy and Juney like to sleep in their guardians’ room during the day and at night, watch birds out the window, and hang out with their guardians for nightly TV watching.

Lucy and Juney are looking for a home together where they will receive lots of love, attention, and patience. Lucy is a domestic long-hair cat who will need regular grooming to keep her gorgeous tortoiseshell coat looking and feeling its best. She will hide from strangers, so a home with routine and familiar humans would be ideal for her. Lucy and Juney have limited experience with dogs and no experience with children, so they could likely adapt to a home with a respectful dog or older cat-savvy children.
