Star and Jupiter

When their beloved senior mom unexpectedly passed away, her beloved cats, Star and Jupiter, were in need of a home. Her son took them temporarily, and contacted My Grandfather’s Cat to find them a second forever home.

The son began working with our Adoption Coordinator, Stephanie, to find Star and Jupiter a home in Hamilton, Ontario. Meanwhile, Ryan came across their post. He had discovered MGC more than a year before and had been following us on IG ever since. Ryan and his partner had recently lost their of their beloved cat, Katie, Ryan and were ready to open their hearts and home to another cat (or two!)

After speaking to many applicants, the son chose Ryan and his partner to be Star and Jupiter’s second forever family.

“They are doing phenomenal. They are such little sweethearts. Our last cat, Katie, was a wonderful cat, huge personality but had a mean streak. These cats are so docile. It’s fun getting to know how different they are from each other, and from their older sister.”

Ryan, a producer with the Hot Mic, even shared his story of adopting Star and Jupiter on the radio, encouraging others to adopt cats who are in need of a second forever home.
