Tabitha
When a senior lady suddenly passed away, her beloved cat Tabitha, was in need of a second forever home. That’s when her son contacted My Grandfather’s Cat.
Her began working with our Adoption Coordinator, Scarlett, to find Tabitha a second forever home in Ottawa, Ontario. Her son worried about finding a home for her, because Tabitha was an indoor-outdoor cat who thrived on her daily adventures outdoors, but had only even been outdoors in that neighbourhood.
When Tabitha’s post went out to our community, many applications came in. Scarlett interviewed each applicant, and one stood out, as she lived in a very outdoor cat friendly neighbourhood. When the son interviewed her, he discovered she lived just two streets down from his mom — which means Tabitha could stay in the same neighbourhood she knew. It felt like fate.
Two weeks later, Tabitha moved two streets down in with the neighbour. She is already deeply loved, and can continue to go on her daily adventures. We are certain her guardian angel is looking down on her, and had a hand in this perfect adoption.
