When his senior moved into a senior residence that does not allow pets, David, a handsome 8 year old tuxedo gentleman, was in need of a second forever home. A kind friend of the senior took David in, but it was only a temporary solution. That’s when My Grandfather's Cat stepped in to help.

Since David is such a handsome bloke, within a few days, our volunteer Melanie had three amazing candidates. The current human chatted with the first in the queue, Kenneth, and she instantly knew he was David’s second forever family.

After just three short weeks, Kenneth indicates that David is thriving. David is enjoying his perch in front of the window. Kenneth is receiving lots of head butts and small love bites and lots of contact.

David has enjoyed the adjustment to indoor-only life. He loves being brushed and keeps his tuxedo coat well-groomed. He is exploring his new home and becoming more comfortable each day.

His favourite new routine at Kenneth’s is his treat plate. He walks up to his plate and looks at it and Kenneth then gives him a few treats! He loves playing with his new toys and is having a good time. These two gents have just found their new best friends!
