Rosie

One day, a sweet little cat wandered into a senior gentleman’s backyard in Toronto, Ontario. Once he realized she was a stray, he took her into his home, named her Rosie and began to care for her.

Rosie had been a stray for a while, and she needed help with her social skills. The senior worked with her for over a year until she was thriving. He continued to care for her until he was no longer able. When he shared this with his daughter, and she helped him contact My Grandfather’s Cat.

The daughter began working with our volunteer, Allison, to find a second forever home for Rosie. Her sweet face was irresistible, and many applications came in. After interviewing each applicant, Adam was chosen to be Rosie’s second forever family.

“Thanks so much for creating this organization and community so cats can find a second home and that their people can do so with peace of mind. Please keep doing great work.”
